The Mass General North Shore Cancer Center for Outpatient Care: MGH/Danvers
offers care of the highest caliber to patients on the North Shore. Conveniently located in Danvers, MA, off Route 128, the center features an array of exceptional medical and surgical services for the whole family, including state-of-the-art operating suites for day surgery, comprehensive cancer and breast health centers, cardiology evaluation and management services, imaging services, primary care and a range of specialty services.
MGHNSCC also provides a comprehensive wellness programs including services such as reiki, massage, yoga, acupuncture and support groups.
Charles River Apparel:
Charles River Apparel is an active wear manufacturer. It was founded in 1983 by Sue's father, Walter Lipsett who envisioned a clothing line combining the New England concepts of value and performance. Today, Sue's brother, Barry, runs the company. Charles River Apparel has been listed as one of the top 100 Sporting Goods Manufacturers by Sports Edge Magazine and has also been awarded the prestigious Bobbin All Star Award for innovation in technology, excellence in management, and corporate goodwill. Charles River Apparel has also been recognized by top business publications such as the Boston Business Journal, The Boston Globe and the Boston Herald for innovative products.
Charles River Apparel has been a consistent supporter of the Sue de Vries Cancer Foundation and also supplies the shirts for our annual Seaglass Bike Ride.
North Shore Women in Business
(NSWIB):
The NSWIB has been a premier networking group for women on the North Shore. The group has been providing women resources and tools to succeed for more than 26 years. NSWIB's mission is to foster valuable opportunities for business women to develop professionally and personally through network, education and social functions with the goal of advancing smart, savvy women. The group is committed to the well-being on women in the business environment.
Paradise Gym & Fitness Center: Paradise Gym in Swampscott provides clients with state of the art equipment and quality fitness classes. Its staff is a highly trained group of professionals who provide an exceptional standard of fitness education.
Paradise Gym has joined with the Sue de Vries Cancer Foundation's annual Seaglass Bike Ride by holding spinning classes the day of the ride so that people can raise money for the Foundation by doing a 'virtual ride."
Congregation Shirat Hayam
: Congregation Shirat Hayam provides congregants of all ages to connect to a Jewish way of life in whatever way is most suitable for them.
The Temple partners with the Sue de Vries Cancer Foundation by hosing our Yoga Live events in the Sanctuary. Hundreds of people sign up to enjoy yoga instructions from different teachers with different backgrounds.
JCC North Shore: The Jewish Community Center of the North Shore in Marblehead offers family oriented programming, child services, recreation, a preschool and summer camps. The center is open to all. The JCC has donated proceeds from kids' walks in the past to the Sue de Vries Cancer Foundation and also donates resources for people to participate virtually in the Seaglass Bike Ride. The ride raises money for the Sue de Vries Cancer Foundation.
The Penny Bear Company:
Penny Wigglesworth, founder of HYPERLINK "g" Penny Bear Workshops, opens her Marblehead home to community programs and gatherings ("circles") for people whose lives have been affected by cancer or Parkinson's disease – plus those with caregiving responsibilities or who are experiencing a life transition during a time of bereavement.
When Sue de Vries, a member of a cancer support group at Wigglesworth's home, shared her vision of a comprehensive wellness community, Penny offered her home for one full day a week of wellness activities for people living with cancer. These gatherings, Circles of Hope, were the precursor of the Wellness Community at Sue's Circle of Hope in Salem, the professionally run branch of Greater Boston's Wellness Community.

An event planning company which offers a new twist on an old theme. Whether you need just a piece of help planning or an entire party Event consulting does it all!
Janie Haas has been supporting Wellness for over 10 years and has donated her services to the Sue deVries annual fundraiser since it's beginning. Janie brings with her not only her abundant energy, but an endless supply of vendors who are eager to help!
Penny Schuler Brand Management
: Penny Schuler Brand Management provides all of our marketing and design for our events and website. A friend of Sue's, Penny was diagnosed with breast cancer at the same time as Sue and is now a ten year survivor and a member of our board.
